FitSteps FAB

FitSteps for All Bodies (FAB for short) is a dance fitness workout designed for people who love to dance, want to keep fit, but for a variety of reasons, prefer a lighter intensity, lower impact and perhaps a slower pace. FAB combines old style dance genres such as the Bossa Nova and Foxtrot to the Flamenco and Argentine Tango.

The workout combines sway and swing roots, making it great fun to do whether young or simply young at heart and there is no need for a partner. The dance steps are easier to follow enabling more participants to have fun.

FitSteps is an energetic, up-beat dance fitness class, featuring all your favourite Strictly dances. It is designed to give real, measurable fitness results. It is suitable for all ages and abilities, and you don’t need a partner. You will have so much fun, you won’t even realise you are getting fit!

Pilates 

Fitness Pilates identifies basic postural and movement imbalances through Pilates based exercises and breath. This class will focus on strength, stability, posture, breath control and flexibility. As the classes will be taught using slow and controlled movements, it makes it perfect for beginners!

Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi

Unlike a traditional workout, Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi focuses on mindful movements that allow the body to slowly transition from one position to the next. Both classes help strengthen muscles, bones, heart and mind with the positive energy that surrounds the body. Benefits include improved balance, flexibility and general mobility, as well as a reduction in stress levels. The focus on breathing can boost both physical and mental wellbeing.

One-to-One Seated Class

Do you know someone who might benefit from a one to one chair exercise class but in their own home. Emma is a qualified Postural Stability Instructor who can help and advise people who would like to build their strength and balance skills or who would like to get become generally fitter.
