About Me

All About Me

Mobirise

I stepped into my first ballet shoes at the tender age of three, and I've been dancing ever since, from school, to college, and right up to my Dance Studies degree.
After this, I qualified as a lecturer with a Certificate of Education, and have taught across the South West, including at Yeovil College, where I was Head of Dance for a decade. I was also an A-Level Dance practical examiner and an external verifier for various exam boards.
Since then, I've been developing DanceFit with Emma throughout Somerset gyms and halls, and it's been enormous fun. Come and join me!

What People Say

Karine: "DanceFit with Emma is always such a great workout, whether you try Fitstep, Zumba or Ballet Barre, they all incorporate great music that make you want to move and forget at times that you are actually working out. Emma is always so positive, always plenty of whooping and high energy, it will leave you feeling sweaty with a big smile on your face. I attend most of Emma's classes and I cannot recommend them enough, it gives me such a buzz. It's good for your body and your soul, double whammy!"

Julie: "Thoroughly recommend Emma’s Zumba and Fitsteps classes. They are friendly, fun and full of energy. You always come away feeling you’ve had a good workout. I don’t always get the steps right but it doesn’t matter. Why not try for yourself?"

Rachel: "We have such a blast laughing, giggling and working up a sweat in Zumba and Fitsteps! My 'whoop whoops' need work, but Emma makes the sessions fun and accessible for all, and her technical knowledge of dance and movement ensures we get maximum physical benefit of the classes, whether it’s online or face to face. Right now, it’s so important for mental wellbeing to be part of a group, and see lots of friendly smiling faces, and to be active."

Val: "I've really enjoyed doing Emma's Zumba classes... Great moves, great music and lots of enthusiasm!"

Michelle: "Emma always makes me smile with her fun style. The music is always great, and my favourites are Bhangra and Flamenco. I go to Fitsteps Fab and I love it! Thanks Emma!"
